Our annual design contest provides an opportunity for our DIY customers and professional designers to showcase their creative talents. This year we had a ton of beautiful entries and it was truly amazing to see how creative our customers are! The staff here at Cards & Pockets voted to narrow down the entries, and our customers voted for the top three in both the Do It Yourself and Professional Design categories. This week we’re showing off the Professional Entries!
Everyone loved the underwater and travel themes from this suite, here is what Jennifer had to say about her entry;
“This invite was designed for an adventurous couple who loves traveling the world and scuba diving. They decided to “meet in the middle just a little south” for their wedding in Mexico (as shown on their envelope liner). They chose turquoise for their main wedding color. I used shades of turquoise and cream paper to mimic the sand, ocean and sky. The sticker is an old passport stamp of Mexico. Their return card is perforated and one part is the return postcard and the other part is a reminder list (magnet placed behind the paper) for the guests to place on their fridge. I used the paper cutter from cards and pockets to perforate the paper. I changed their last names, personal info, and exact location of their wedding to protect their privacy. My business name is Design That Flies. “
